El reconocido pintor y escultor Colombiano nacido en Medellín, Fernando Botero es el creador de esta maravillosa y conocida escultura en bronce “la Gorda ” que donó a la ciudad de Cartagena y está ubicada en la plaza de Santo Domingo. Es de las más tocadas pues a diario muchos nativos además de tantos turistas que visitan la ciudad y hacen su recorrido la acarician y se toman fotos con ella. Los cartageneros la han llamado “La Gorda Gertrudis”.
Hay que mirarle todos los lados para disfrutar de cada detalle, de cada “masita” y entender por qué esta gordita tiene tanto éxito!
